Macy’s closing landmark downtown Minneapolis store

Macy’s Inc. said Wednesday that it is closing its downtown Minneapolis location on Nicollet Mall. The property, the original Dayton’s department store, was sold to 601W Cos., a real estate investment firm in New York.
