Target Corp.’s downtown job base is on the rise again as the Minneapolis retailer reported a gain of 650 jobs in 2016. The company’s downtown job count now stands at 8,150, up from 7,500 last year, but still down from the 12,582 employees working downtown before new CEO Brian Cornell implemented massive job cuts in early 2015.
